This is why I'm not a vegetarian

Recently, in front of the soon-to-be-renamed MCI Center, I was accosted by animal rights activists. They gave me this sticker: PETA is wrong. While I generally support not being cruel to animals, I just don't buy the no milk, no eggs, no meat thing. And today, Discovery proved my point -- historically, it's always been eat or be eaten.

I agree with the message of the shirt, though. That chicken is not a nugget. That chicken is easily 10-20 nuggets.

There's very little actual chicken in nuggets anyway.

I feel far less bad about eating chicken than I do about eating something that might have had squab in it, and pigeons are the bird version of rats.

(Then again, that's more about germophobia than cruelty to animals.)
