Poll results and new poll

Here are the results of the Monty Python-related poll:

In one of the closest votes to date, Monty Python and the Holy Grail barely snuck out a win over Monty Python's Life of Brian.

Anyway, the new flip-flop related poll is up. Apparently, this is important enough news that it has recently been covered by several major newspapers. So, vote here to express your view.

You know, I've never heard flip flops referred to as "shoes" before. I don't think the news really has become trivial enough yet.

I'm not sure that a sports article is technically more newsworthy than an article on footware at the office. Apparently if it affects the popular culture, it's newsworthy. Personally, I'm offended by people who fear flipflops to work. Yes we're a bunch of nonprofits, but have some freakin' self respect!

I have been known to wear flip-flops out in public, on weekends or holidays. On occasion, I have worn them during my commute, but once I get to the office, I change in to real shoes. And, our office dress code purportedly prohibits them.

They might be unattractive, but they are very comfortable.

I like to wear them in the summertime, but it's bad news when you can't find a pair of flip flops that don't pinch your toes. Sad state of affairs. I need to go back to Old Navy.
