"Not Cool" is no defense

It's official: "Not Cool" is not a persuasive legal argument.

And, of course, this had to come from Wisconsin.

I was going to point that out specifically for you and Pigface, but, since I really don't know that much about Wisconsin, I refrained.

Hooray--a legal precedent for saying 'Not cool' has been set...

God bless lawyers.

=-)

Ryane: The guy making the "Not Cool" argument was pro se, but at least the judge (or his law clerk) was kind enough to address it in the opinion. Yay for judges.

I love the law.

For Dara: So I guess "pigface" is just a term of affection now? This makes me miss Jason.

Everyone thinks the law is fun. That's why there are so many friggin' legal-themed tv shows. Mostly it's monotonous paperwork. But every once in a while, there's a gem like this.

And when was Pigface not a term of affection?

That's one function that tv serves. It edits out all the boring parts of life.

Jason was spitting venom that night, but he had had one too many drinks as well and it was hilarious. I'd pay money to see a rematch, but there'd better be blood drawn.

Andy, again deleted because you reference the proper name of The Anonymous Law Firm.

I have no leverage to get you a job here. And really, why would you want one?

Yes, this opinion is real. This is what makes litigation fun.
