Poll results and new poll

So, here are the results of the weekly poll on New Year's Resolutions:

The masses (ha, ha) have spoken, and this time, I agree. If you're going to be motivated to change something, why limit it to the New Year?

But if you really need a reason to dislike New Year's Resolution's check out Courtney Love's lengthy list.

Seriously. They're just dumb.

Anyway, this week's poll is more fun -- and it relates to my recent post on spelling. Vote here.

I think that February and Wednesday would both be really hard to spell, except that I've learned to mispronounce them (like they are spelled) in my head when I'm writing them. Entourage is really hard to spell, though.

I don't know, I kind of think it's more admirable to make a resolution and try something (even if it doesn't last) rather than to sit on your ass (like the rest of us) and figure it won't last so why bother. Eventually it may stick.

Why would I make resolutions? I'm already perfect.

Peter: Entourage isn't that hard either -- it is spelled like it sounds.

Debby: I think making a resolution to do something is fine. My point is that it's silly to wait until January 1 to resolve to fix a whole bunch of things at once. That way, you almost doom yourself to failure.

Justin: Riiiight.

To me, it sounds like "aunteraj."

Peter: It's based on French, where you say every letter, but just in an accent that's snooty enough to have an entourage.

Some people need the feeling of a fresh start to get motivated to try something new or make some kind of change. I think I have the wrong audience. Carry on.

I've been so busy I didn't get to vote.

They are only a waste of time if you don't have any realistic goals set or you have no intention of actually sticking to them.

Any program works if you work it (so 'they' say)

Ok. I'll get on that 'tagged' thing this evening =)
