Poll results and new poll
If I had posted the poll results last week, it might have been different. The cat lovers voted early, but the dog lovers prevailed at the end.

Hamsters are good too, but goldfish are even better.
My siblings and I grew up with fish, and my sister had hamsters when I was in high school.
The hamsters were kinda gross. We thought we had gotten two girls, but then one turned out to be a boy. Then, they had sex all the time in the hamster wheel, usually when I had boys over.
Then they ate the babies.
Dammit! I forgot to vote for the cats! *grumble*
OK, I take it back about hamsters.
So glad dogs pulled it out in the end. And yeah, puppies rule!
Only because I was out of town. Dogs fart and you have to pick up their poop. Outdoor cats are the best.

Dogs may fart and you might have to clean up their poop, but you still have to clean up litterbox poop from indoor cats.
And outdoor cats? They kill things and leave them in bloody heaps at your doorstep.

A) I do not vote -- even once -- in any of the polls. So they are completely a reflection of others' opinions. Take umbrage with them.
B) I said what I thought days before the poll: I personally think dogs are marginally better than cats. But I think there are cases to be made for both sides, and that for every argument, there is an equally-compelling opposing viewpoint. So, if you want me to stop telling you that you're wrong, stop telling me that I'm wrong.
C) Both dogs and cats are way better than rabbits. Or hamsters. Or snakes.
That's right, I leave the grumpiness to you. :-p
