Just a bit of commentary about nothing in particular.
Well, if you do get an iPod, don't say I didn't warn you.
I'm not committed to anything just yet. All I know is that I need to replace my Rio sooner, rather than later.Based on the current market for music players, iPods are overpriced and everyone says that it's hard to change the music (but that's inconsequential if I get something big enough to hold my entire collection). Other brands seem to be cheaper, have the radio tuner, and some nifty other features -- but don't have the same capacity or the ability to work with iTunes. So, there's my dilemma.I'll figure it out eventually.
Another thing to consider... iTunes pretty much tie you to one computer. If you ever want to hook up your iPod to another computer, it's a pain, and if you're not careful, you might accidentally replace stuff. I don't know if this affects you, but I do like to get stuff from multiple computers.
