Poll results and new poll

Oh Britney. We thought that you looked drugged out of your mind last Sunday:

Onto this week's poll. With two weeks left in the baseball season -- and after a weekend of going to games with my sister -- it's about the race for the National League wild card. Vote here.

You know, I still haven't seen her performance, and I don't think I will.

Down with pop music!!!

Beakerz: She looked drugged out, but it could have been anything. Booze, painkillers, fear of a half-assed performance, thinking about how best to kill her ex-husband -- anything.

DSL: Just don't get brainwashed into picking the Cardinals. That's a loser's bet.

Evil Spock: Pop music might suck, but the performance is one for the ages. You must watch it. Do not pass go, do not collect $200.

I am informed about the Cardinals, but that's about it.

The lean and half-step at the beginning was classic. Her most entertaining performance ever!

I am saying Dodgers purely out of loyalty, but I actually do believe they have a shot. Other possibles for the wildcard are the Padres and the Phils. I think the Brewers have a chance to take the wildcard, but I don't think they are taking their division. Cards are out. Cubbies are running away with the central division.

(My the way, you might be happy to know I spent the weekend hanging out with a die-hard Nationals fan. They do exist.)

DSL: Justin will try to brainwash you. Resist!

Brian: I kept waiting for her to fall off the stage. Or faceplant onto it. Either way.

Chaim: I thnk those are the most reasonable guesses. And I spent the weekend watching baseball with a diehard Braves fan -- but I tolerated it because she's my sister.

Dara, you should know by now that it's impossible to brainwash me when it comes to sports. I try but I can't muster up enough feeling one way or the other.
