Poll results and new poll

The Halloween poll results are in, and you think that my almost-four-year-old cousin's duck costume was cuter than my almost-six-year-old cousin's pirate costume.

I totally agree.

Anyway, the new poll is up and it's about Martin Scorsese movies. Vote here.

Early voting has "The Color of Money" winning. I really hope that doesn't hold up. It's an alright movie, but there are easily 6 or 7 better movies on that list.

This poll is bound to be a bit lopsided. I, for one, have only seen three of these movies (though I'd definitely like to see more).

I have noticed a glitch on the blog poll. You can vote more than once. It may not be accurate since it doesn't support being able to keep people from voting multiple times.

Justin: Vote early and often for better movies then.

DSL: That's what Netflix is for.

Nicole: It is not really a glitch. I have two choices -- allowing one vote or allowing unlimited votes. But there are ways that people can get around the one vote limitation. So, I opted for allowing unlimited votes. That way, if you like more than one choice, you can vote more than once. And all things being equal, there's just not enough at stake to motivate people to vote over and over again.

Justin made me get rid of Netflix.

DSL: That's too bad, really. Especially now that it lets you watch movies via computer.

And apparently nothing but reality shows will be on tv...

If the writers' strike goes on for long enough, I'm going to be thanking god for Project Runway, Netflix, and DVD box sets.

I just hope I can resist the siren call of American Idol when there's nothing else on tv.
