I have a lot of skirts and dresses. My dresses are mostly for formal-ish type occasions -- although in the summer, when it's 90-some-odd- degrees, I'll occasionally wear a sundress. I have less formal skirts, but if I'm not really dressing up, I'm likely to be wearing jeans or corduroy pants.
I tend to wear suits for work -- i.e., to court and to depositions -- and usually with pants, not skirts. This is doubly true in the winter. And, while I do occasionally wear a less formal skirt in a business casual ensemble, I'm most likely wearing pants. (Generally black pants, but that's only because they match everything.)
