March 9, 1987

I can't believe that I missed that last Friday marked the 20th anniversary of one of my favorite albums of all time: The Joshua Tree.

Seriously. I love it so much that I have a framed poster of the album cover in my bedroom:



I love it so much that, despite the fact that my record player died in December, I've kept the record:

Sorry I didn't know to tell you. Even I (I'm not a big U2 fan) listened to that album a few days ago when I caught a rockumentary on U2 and how Joshua Tree is really old, which makes me basically dead ;)

Still their best album.

Ryane: It is pretty awesome. Sadly, I'm not the one who got it signed -- otherwise I'd have told the story by now. It was a gift. I'm not sure how it was obtained by the giftor, and was too impressed to ever ask the follow-up questions.
