FYI, I did it with 4:44 left.

I learned a song in elementary school that enabled me to just name all the states in 18.2 seconds. In alphabetical order.

It's the typing that makes this test difficult. You have to type all 50 -- and spell well enough that the system recognizes what you are typing -- in the 10 minutes.

I'd have been faster if I could ever type "Minnesota" "Massachusetts" "Connecticut" and "Mississippi" without typos. My fingers get confused.

Ah. I didn't click the link and see that you have to type them. I did it with 7:58 left.

Then you are a way better typist than me.

I still can't spell Massa*!#*@#U. Damn. But that song from 5th grade sure did come in handy.

I have problems typing the states named after old indian words. They're long and have strange combinations of double letters. (Then again, the only reason I can type the word "Tallahassee" is because I've done it so often. Practice, practice, practice.)

I can recall the states pretty quickly because I see a map in my mind. So, I can pretty much go from east coast to west -- or north to south -- and not miss any. But I don't think I ever learned the state song. Damn you, New Jersey public schools! :(

OMG! I got to 47 with about 6:30 left and spaced. I got two of them over the next two minutes, but could NOT think of the last one.

It turned out to be New Jersey! Hahaha.

I forgot NJ and Wisconsin.

How could anyone forget New Jersey!

Or Wisconsin!

Especially right after I read your comment mentioning New Jersey public schools! I'm stupid.

I mention New Jersey a lot. But I lived there for 12 years . . .

I think my point is how can you forget the state with the most punchlines.
