The drivers with the worst road rage in the country are in Miami.
There is one noteworthy thing in the study:
Rude drivers: Miami, Phoenix, New York, Los Angeles, and Boston.
Polite drivers: Minneapolis, Nashville, St. Louis, Seattle, and Atlanta.
With the exception of Boston, all of the places with the most rude drivers have warm weather -- while the majority of places with the more polite drivers have somewhat cooler weather.

In order to test your road rage vs. temperature theory, I invite you to spend August in St. Louis. (I know... But unlike Florida, we have no beaches.)
The worst road rage cities are also some that supposedly have some of the worst traffic in the country, so maybe that has something to do with it.
Or maybe not, because DC's not on the list.
