News breaks, and I post it

After a four-week long trial, the Maryland jury took just four hours to find John Allan Mohammed guilty of six sniper shootings.

Not that this is a surprise to anyone who's been keeping up with the latest trial.

Ain't this a classic Catch-22? Crazy people have a right to defend themselves, but if you decide to defend yourself you must be crazy. Or vice versa. Or something.

Oh forget it. That didn't make any sense.

I think it makes perfect sense.

Of course, I also think there's crazy and there's crazy -- the non-functioning illness harm-to-self-and-others just-because crazy vs. the wanting to shoot people to get back at your ex-wife and extort money from the government crazy.
