Things I learned today

Other than actual interviewing skills, the most important things I learned at my workshop are that, when your mock interviews are going to be videotaped and critiqued, you should (1) always wear makeup and (2) don't wear anything with a relatively low neckline. You really don't want to see yourself looking like a pale ghost with bad skin and distracting cleavage. Ick.

I like distracting cleavage. But that's me. I'm a different breed of cat.

Unless you're a porn star, I think it's just weird to see your own boobs on film.

Boobs on film. Isn't that a Duran Duran song?

I don't think those are actually the words, but that was the gist of the video.
