These are the sort of things that make my day

1. From Weingarten's chat:

Gene Weingarten: This is delicious . It is from an anti-abortion Web site. I was alerted to it by someone whose Web address is angrypregnantlawyer. This guy is just wildly angry at a pro-abortion screed, and he quotes from it liberally, as it were, annotating it with his own diatriabe. He seems unfamiliar with the nature of the Web site from which this screed was taken. The Onion.

2. Crooks and Liars' clip of The Daily Show.

3. Garrison Keillor's latest column.

4. The ten least politically correct movies ever.

Oh my god. The pro-life woman might just be the stupidist person ever.

Oh, I'm stupid too. It's a pro-life man, the picture is the woman from the Onion article.

Oh, and he realized what he did and posted this.

Actually, just read the whole blog. He's made 4 posts on the subject.

Justin:

Re: Comment #1 -- you spelled "stupidest" wrong. LOL.

Re: the rest -- Seems to me that he really didn't get it at first, and then figured it out and tried to backtrack. Plus, it's abundantly clear that he's not of the mindset for intelligent debate on the subject, stating:

"Contraception is the direction of the pro-abortion movement, because they know America is waking up to the fact that abortion kills human beings and it should not have been decriminalized by the Supreme Court."

and

"First of all, who are we talking about? We are talking about a woman who supports the murder of over 3,000 babies/human beings every single day. We are talking about a woman who supports the suctioning out of brains from human beings to collapse their skulls in order to remove their dead carcases from the women who have chosen to kill their children. A woman who likely supports the killing of a fully developed 9 month old baby so that the poor mother doesn't have to buy diapers, or live with the trauma of having to raise a child."

Yeah, I can see how one could glean that from a satirical piece by a fictional author in a humor publication. He should hang out with Kirk Cameron.

I think it's entertaining just hearing Justin have a conversation with himself. It's better than actually talking to him. :-p

Debby, between this and your comment on PH4H, I'm beginning to think that you have some deep-seeded rage directed at Justin. :P

And no reaction from him on either blog...

I did think his conversation with himself was pretty cute. :-p As for the pro-lifer, I can't stand to listen to those things, even if someone tells me it's funny.

Justin S. said...

I stick my tongue out at Debby.

What is that supposed to do for my "deep-seeded rage"? :-p

Justin S. said...

I don't think it's so deep-seeded.

My non-deep-seeded rage is temporarily focused towards all the BMW drivers of the world.

Justin S. said...

Why BMW drivers?

DSL said...

I say, without qualification, that BMW drivers are the most aggressive, most obnoxious drivers on the rode. I first said that about 3 years ago and I'm still sure of it today.
