News (allegedly) breaks, and I scoff

Various sources are reporting that Britney Spears had her baby this morning. (Allegedly, the second Federfetus is another boy, for those who care.) Apparently, this is big enough news that I can't get the US Weekly website to load. But have no fear: a press release has been scheduled for later today. (Note that E! News is skeptical because People hasn't posted it yet.)

What this really means is that -- whether or not the news is true -- Britney gets more (and better) press coverage than the President -- whose speech didn't even make the front page of this morning's New York Times. We live in a peculiar world.

I can't get US to load either. But the print edition this week is hilarious. Jessica Simpson's face looks so ridiculous.

I did get the US Weekly site to load, albeit briefly, and it says exactly the same thing as the National Enquirer. Baby boy, 2am, yadda yadda yadda.

Nothing from any "reputable" sources yet.

I just want it confirmed already so I get the fantasy celebrity league points.

HAHAHA. well, great. Another human being that Britney Spears and Kevin Federline can ruin. Seriously, though, whose face would you rather look at--Bush, or Federlinefetus?

=-)

Easy -- even if his parents are complete jackasses, the baby is likely to be cute.

Me too. I hear they might be taking suggestions.
